Perhaps your client delivered
the artwork late, or held onto the proofs an extra day. Maybe the art
files didn't include fonts, or the cover stock didn’t arrive on time,
setting you back hours, even days. There
are
many factors that can compromise a deadline, and the bindery is often the
last chance to make up for lost time.
Our top-of-the-line Bobst SP
Evoline scores, perfs, and diecuts in a third of the time cylinder presses
require. And it handles sheets up to 40 inches, as well as a range of
substrates, from text and cover stocks to corrugated board.
Here's a typical job: You
send us 50,000 cover stock 40-inch press sheets, with brochures 6-up on
each sheet. The sheets are transferred at maximum speed via a
cam-controlled gripper-bar transfer mechanism. Accuracy is ensured with
the Bobst’s positioning and lock-up of the chase and cutting plate, and
the Autoplaten® print-to-cut register system.
The entire job is completed in 10 hours versus the 32 hours it might take
on a cylinder press . . . 200,000 finished brochures in a third of the
time!
See it in action: If you’d like
to witness our new Bobst in action, or if you’d like more information
about its time-saving features, call Risto at 425-656-8210. Or send us
your next scoring/diecutting job, especially if you need to make up for
lost time.
