Seattle Bindery Moves Into New Site

 (Seattle, WA  April 8, 1999)

The new facility has a custom-designed floor plan and state-of-the-art information and production systems to bring customers maximum efficiencies. This has been a dream from the time I acquired Seattle Bindery, says president and CEO Milt Vine. In our present location, wešve had to overcome the inefficiencies inherent in a two-level plant. Our new 30,000 square foot, single story facility is tailor-made to allow work to flow quickly and seamlessly from one production department to the next. Potential bottlenecks like elevator loading and off-loading are entirely eliminated. Our new site includes two grade-level and four dock-high loading facilities. While Vine acknowledges the move out of the central Seattle area may worry some customers, he is confident that the efficiencies gained will counter all objections. I can prove that the move will bring big benefits to customers. But, for those who are nervous about the longer distance, I'm offering free pick-up and delivery service through June, because it is just a matter of time before theyšll see the gains in bottom-line cost efficiencies that our new site offers.
